Energeo have been selected by Sovereign Housing Association to undertake an energy and mobility study of the organisations properties across Bournemouth. The geospatially driven analysis will determine the solar suitability of housing stock, enabling Sovereign to rapidly identify opportunities to reduce tenant electricity bills. Energeo will also assess potential Electric Vehicle (EV) charging requirements across the portfolio to allow Sovereign to understand where on-street charging solutions may be required in order to facilitate tenant transition to EV.
"We're absolutely delighted to be working with Sovereign again" commented Energeo CEO, Ian Dee. "Our previous work with them in Oxfordshire was a study into current stock condition, but this project is very much driven by Sovereign's determination to better strategise their future actions and ensure their properties offer their tenants affordable, clean energy and emobility opportunities. Sovereign's willingness to explore innovative, data driven solution is very much in keeping with our own approach, making these projects extremely exciting and collaborative affairs".
The intelligence delivered by Energeo will also be used by Sovereign to assess the potential Co2 savings possible through wider solar deployment across their portfolio. In addition to the Solar and EV intelligence, Energeo will also be integrating Energy Performance Certificate (EPC) data, to allow rapid determination of recommended measures to improve energy efficiency.
