Coleshill, UK - 2nd April 2020
Energeo have delivered Thermal Infrared (TIR) imagery of Oxford City to Oxfordshire County Council as part of Project LEO, the UK's largest Smart Grid trial. The imagery, captured via aerial survey during February 2020, will be used by the LEO partners to assess the energy efficiency of buildings and properties within the City. Additionally, the imagery will be utilised alongside further Energeo intelligence on property suitability for Solar PV, Heat Pumps and EV charging infrastructure, to build a comprehensive picture of low carbon technology potential across the area.
Alongside the imagery of Oxfordshire, data for the Oxfordshire towns of Abingdon and Eynsham was also collected and delivered. Further acquisition will be completed in the 2020 winter flying season including Bicester, Didcot, Banbury, Witney, Carterton, Kidlington, Wantage and Henley.
