Energeo Ltd are undertaking a wide area building heat loss assessment for the Oxfordshire town of Abingdon. Every building within the main urban area – over 16,000 addresses – will be analysed via airborne thermal infrared imagery to determine levels of heat lost via the roof and, thanks to Energeo’s innovative methodology developed in-house with European Space Agency support, external wall heat loss.

Alongside the building heat loss analysis, Energeo will also be delivering a number of other sustainable energy related insights including; identification of solar suitable properties, garden analysis for Ground Source Heat potential, identification of existing solar installations, and land assessment for solar farm suitability. In addition, Energeo will combine socio-demographic and B2B/B2C data with these insights to allow sustainable strategy or promotional activity to be implemented to individual property level.
